Referral wait times

Let's see, what's new in referral land?

Note the lovely posting on the CCAA website to the right.

Any math whizes out there? Try this graph on for size, in the last 7 months, the CCAA has managed to provide referals for ONLY 3.5 months of LID's... yup, try the graph... shouldn't be too hard... looks like a 45 degree angle, heading upwards. In the last 7.5 months, the wait time has gone from 6 months to just a hair under 12 months. Or for the SAT test type of question: If Dr Bob has 10 people come in every week for appointments but only sees 5 of them, how long will those coming in after 12 weeks have to wait?

Now that's progress... just not the right kind. Up until October of last year, referals had been coming in at a steady 6-7 months from LID for well over a year.

Ahhhh, those who know us well know though we can't get the winning lottery numbers for you, you can find the shortest line in life by NOT getting in line behind us... we are known for the most ironic luck and horrible ability to be on the losing side of 'statistics'.

You know the saying, when life hands you lemons... make Lemon drops (not the candy, the drink!!!)
