So, latest news on the move...

I have finished all my swaps for the Yahoo groups I'm in, postcards quilt squares, so one less thing to worry about.

First realtor visit, nothing major to do, 100% thumbs up for the way the house is right now. No more cleaning, decorating, tidying, we just have to keep it looking this way :) LOL. The other realtor comes today. We hope to list it by late next week.

We are house hunting next week and hope to find something quick, or find something we can put money down on to build. Building is appealing, except for the minor detail of living in a hotel for 4-5 months.


Lastly, our agency, gave us great news. We just have to update the homestudy once we are in our new home for a few months. No other changes required, not even updates to income, letter of employment, etc. Only other thing that might happen is that we have to renew our I-171, medical and get a whole new homestudy if time runs out on those documents due to the wait. But hey, everyone's in that boat then.

We really lucked out, had this happened BEFORE our dossier was logged in, everything would have been toast.

Since we have not much left to do for the house being listed (on our part) we're off for fun tomorrow, going to see a show at Medieval Times restaurant, E's been wanting to go for years so he gets his wish! (he doesn't know yet but he doesn't keep up with the blog daily so it's ok to post!)
