One week down... 8 maybe 9 more to go. Still have our sanity, the dogs still have all ears and skin intact so they haven't gotten into too many 'arguments'.So here's the 360 view of our place. Note the cool combo kitchen/office with the cool frig printer stand. This makes having a beer while working on the computer really convenient. Next comes our entertainment center/pantry/storage area/armoire. Again, there are advantages to 'downsizing'. I can reach the snacks, drinks, clothes and TV all from one place on the floor.
This brings us to the wonderful dog kennel/playroom/sitting area/storage area. AKA the window seat for the dogs just to the right of the kennel in an overstuffed chair. Behind the chair is the 'attic', you know, the space you stuff things you rarely use but 'need' to keep handy. Note half the lighting fixtures located on top of the dog crate... hoping it can hold the weight till we get them in the new house next week!
Lastly, our bedroom and walk in closet. Technically, it's a drive by closet but I guess in a stretch it's also a walk in closet. What more can you ask for?Any takers on how long till the dogs have a major brew-ha-ha? Any guesses on how long till either E or I call dibs on the tub to sleep in to take 'refuge' from it all? I've wondered since before we got here how strange it's gonna feel to move into the new home after living for months in about 200 SF. ACtually, looking at it in the photos it seems like a lot of space... ok, that maybe the 'drugs' taking effect to make my claustrophobia ease up a bit... by the way, hotel induced claustrophobia is possibly a new medical diagnosis! AKA H-I-C for short... or is that reference to the fact we're now 'hicks' in the sticks?
On a lighter note we were able to select nearly all of the lighting fixtures... unfortunately, we couldn't get access to the house today to drop them off so they reside in the hotel room with us. We have a few more to get but this is one more thing on the list. We've selected appliances, cabinets, countertops (maybe), plumbing, etc. A new home is both exciting and a pain in the butt. Run here, run there, do it within 48 hours by the way or force a move out on the closing date...we saw the house today too and took a few more pictures of it.

Oh, but you will have SOooo much space in just a little over 2 months. I think I would love being in the boonies! You can stretch your imagination some and think of your temporary dwelling place as cozy ;-)
I love the pantry above the TV (and your dog crate) - great sitting/storage room. Everything is almost within arms reach from where ever you are! It's these experiences that make memories. Great photos!
Just think about the family dinners you will have in the future where the conversations start with, "remember when will lived..."
I can't imagine how rough that is right now. It will all be worth it in the end. Just be thankful you only have two pups. You could have four like us, we would be in TROUBLE if we had to do that.

Instead of multi tasking, we have a room that is 'multi functional'!
