Looks Like We Made It...

Yup, not only a song title but something we can apply to our life.

We made it through 10 weeks in Temporary "housing". Hard to believe but our wait, since LID to CHINA has been 10 weeks in Maryland and 10 weeks at the Holiday Inn. By Christmas it will be 10 weeks in the new house. Amazing how we'll have spent our wait so far.

Here's the Top 10 List of Things We Went Without

10. grocery shopping for a frig larger than a sandwich box
9. VCR, DVD, Tivo
8. <150 SF of living space
7. multiple toilets
6. 'private' space
5. our own washer and dryer
4. calling the place you live in "home"
3. our sleep number king bed (we had a full bed)
2. our mail box at at the end of the driveway (it was 35 miles away)

And the #1 thing we went without...

So, other than item #1, we can't wait to close on Thursday. a few more items left for the builder to address, but the majority is complete and we NEED to close.
