You know you've waited a long time when..

 for some reason I just can't seem to get enough of this ever expanding list.

1. The US gets Universal Health Care
2. The Space Station gets finished (holy crap)
3. G.W. opens a presidential library and it's recognized as a great place of learning
4. After everyone else stops asking about the adoption or even remembers it anymore, you wonder if it's something you made up that only existed in your head.

I have one more:
