Not a whole freakin lot. Sorry to disappoint you.
We received a few new postcards, gosh, the mail has really been a lot of fun with everything for the adoption. It's made the first (nearly) 2 months of our official waiting go by easier.
This is the time of the month where the rumor mills go CRAZY in adoption land as the CCAA sends out referrals around this time... the rumor is between 3 days work of LID's up to 11 days worth of LID's. Either way, the news SUCKS as this means yet another month goes by where they fail to give referrals for a full month of people. And, this is easy math here, if they fail to do a full month each month, and only give referrals once a month, the wait will extend AGAIN. So we're approaching 13 months, when we started, it was 6-8... SUCKS.We also have new quilt squares... so check them out, on the link on the left of this main blog.
We have 4 from family/friends and 66 (having subtracted duplicates) from the online community. I've decided for the quilt pattern we're going after that we'll keep all wishes (duh, of course) but the duplicate fabric squares we'll only place one in, makes sense for us! So family, let's kick it into high gear! Come On Family and Friends!
Other than that, not much else to report... but a big howdy to my regular family and friend visitors (that I know of) M (brother), K, J, R, M (work friend), A, mom (hey, do you really read this?)and K. You guys really lift my spirits when I hear you read it and that you enjoy it. You've taken the road less travelled for E and I, and that has made all the difference.
We've loved sharing all the details with each of you and have enjoyed ALL your questions... even the ones asking us to detail 'hey what's a squatty potty?'!
