Spent the day going to class to learn what crack whores don't need to learn in order to become a parent.
Parenting classes, a good idea, for everyone.
After 4 years of waiting, can someone explain to me how you can be "in the wait" and not learn most of the things you learned in class? I know, I know, there are people out there who choose the head in sand approach to learning the culture, the reality of orphanage related delays, the need for a village to help you raise this child, the list goes on.
But part of me thinks this is also the almighty dollar/peso/yen/euro at work.
(though thankfully the class was free... as in, included in the $1500 for the new homestudy, LOL)
